The new Sonata / i40 has launched in Korea
The Sonata – which will be the Hyundai i40 in Europe – is yet another very convincing new model from the Koreans. Gone is the very boring old Sonata and in comes the very European style i40. It is a somewhat derivative design – from the ’Coupe Saloon’ school of design – but that’s a positive for a budget car maker like Hyundai.
The all-new Toyota Sienna MPV made its debut at the 2009 LA Auto Show. The third generation Sienna follows its predecessors in being a fairly conventional full-size MPV as befitting its market aspirations, but introduces innovative functional interior design features and some unexpected panache to the exterior too. CAR CRASH DEATHS have plummeted over the last five decades despite the rising number of drivers on the road, figures show. Since 1960, the number of annual deaths from collisions in England and Wales has fallen by 41%, researchers said. There were 1,647 deaths from a road traffic accident in 1960 and 964 deaths in 2009, according to an article published online in Emergency Medicine Journal.
